Fluid Analysis

Fluid flow in applications has become an important aspect in many of the fields that Goudsmit UK. From air flow cooling down an electric motor to the fluid flow in a permanent magnet waste pump the characteristics of fluid flow have a strong impact other aspects of our designs especially power consumption and thermal comportment. Typical problems that would be analysed in two and three dimensions include:

• Compressible and non-compressible flows
• Steady state and transient flows
• Flows in rotating devices
• Flows containing particles
• Heat transfer

Although not a core part of the companies analysis offering there has been a good participation in some projects and with growing experience we believe that CFD will become more dominant in our consultancy program.
