Circuit Boards
Populated circuit boards are a growth area for Goudsmit UK. Over recent years we have taken client’s design and test specifications and supplied like for like boards cost effectively. With expertise in conventional and surface mount design we can provide our clients with a complete supply package.
Using a range of PCB CAD packages we can supply varying levels of design to our clients. These range from the simple to the complex, for example re-layout of existing circuits to improve on board size and complexity, re-design of boards from conventional to surface mount components and design of board layout from a circuit diagram.

In addition to the production of boards and the population of SMD or conventional components, Goudsmit UK can also supply a range of bespoke assemblies to provide a total solution. These include heat sink mounting, heat sinking enclosures in die cast aluminium, electro-mechanical component mounting, plastic housings and various designed and tooled, moulded connectors and adaptors. We can also mount the circuit within a plastic housing by clips, heat staking and ultrasonic welding.
We offer complete design of electronics and execution of the board from this design. If necessary, we can also arrange other services such as EMC testing with outside labs and test houses.

Production
Board types manufactured are single and double-sided surface mount, with pick and place facility for both types. Multi-layer surface mount boards are also manufactured. Production is semi or fully automated, guaranteeing repeatability and quality. Our production equipment is adapted to either short or medium volumes.

In order to match the quality level to each client’s individual application, at Goudsmit UK we tailor the QA policy for each product to meet the needs of the individual client. To enable us to meet this quality plan we have the following specialist equipment:
