Machined And CNC Components

Since first introducing the supply of mild steel and magnetic stainless parts, Goudsmit UK have become specialists in the supply of Machined and CNC components. In addition to mild steel and magnetic stainless parts, we now supply brass, copper and aluminium parts, all produced to tight tolerances and excellent finishes.

The range of applications for machined and CNC components is infinite. They are used in industrial applications in pumps, motors, valves and hydraulics through to automotive, medical, instrumentation, aerospace and white goods. Goudsmit UK can design and specify your machined part for you. We can also provide drawings and solid models of your component should you need one. For automotive applications we can advise on process capability and the past history of SPC results.

Machining

Production facilities are based around small to mid size batches of 10,000 to 100,000 parts. Part capability is between 1mm and 100mm outside diameter. The equipment is suited to a wide range of forms and designs and can be operated flexibly by our well trained workforce.

Production equipment includes:

• Swiss-type automatic screw machines
• CNC turret machines
• Coil fed automatics
• Secondary turning machines
• Secondary operation equipment for honing, grinding, drilling and milling

Post-machining

After production of the components, at least 40% of our production undergoes a form of surface treatment to protect the component or modify its performance. The range of finishes we supply are either completed in-house or, in the case of heat treatments, sub-contracted to an approved vendor.
