AlNiCo
Alnico pot magnets are housed in a steel pot, with a non-magnetisable material (brass or aluminium) in between.
These pot magnets can be used at temperatures of up to 450°C. A decrease in magnetic force of 30 to 40% then occurs. This is, however, not permanent, it is restored as soon as the pot magnet cools down to room temperature.
