Goudsmit UK have vast experience in the volume manufacture of thermoplastic injection moulded components, foams and extrusions. We offer a wide range of post moulding and assembly options to create your final product.

Polymer Design & Fea Analysis

Design reviews are critical prior to manufacture. Using our expertise and FEA know how, we can review any design in order to consider:

Location of splits
Ejector pins
Gate positions

Date wheels
Wall thickness, flow and shrinkage

This will help to optimise your design and reduce waste without compromising the strength and functionality of your parts.

Polymer Materials

Injection Moulding

The majority of polymers we use are standards such as Nylons, ABS, HIPS and Acetyl to name but a few, but we can also accommodate less common polymers. Parts can also be over moulded or insert moulded in addition to the standard method.

Goudsmit UK can supply flexible, rigid and co-extruded parts. The range of polymers available is extensive; however typical materials for flexible extrusions are PVC which can be modified in several ways. For Rigid extrusions, other polymers used as well as PVC are ABS, HIPS, PP, PE, PC, PTEG, PMMA and PS.

Goudsmit UK can supply you with polyurethane (PU) foam in a range of different forms including; semi rigid flexible foam, integral skin foams, rigid foams and over moulded foams.

Polymer Finishing

Polymers are very versatile and your final product can be tailored using the following procedures:

Post machining
Pad and screen printing

Painting and sandblasting

Our main goals are to deliver high dimensional and density stability for your products with an excellent quality finish on visual parts – repeatedly.
