Having been with Goudsmit UK for over 5 years, Julie remains a key member of the Goudsmit UK team. As one of our Operations Co-Ordinator’s, Julie’s role within the company is vital. With her ability to excel under pressure and her organisational skills, Julie is perfectly suited to her role. Julie’s responsible for the manufacturing side of the business, which involves communicating with our production facilities on a constant basis to ensure all orders are completed on time and dealing with any manufacturing issues that might arise. Julie also oversees the transport & logistics for the company, ensuring goods are shipped to the UK by sea or airfreight, handling UK clearances on arrival and on-going deliveries to our customers.
Julie’s sociability and communication skills makes her a favourite among her team and customers alike. Julie describes her role as demanding and tough, but what she loves about her job is the close-knit team, knowing she can always rely on them for help and support. Julie’s favourite part of her job is the people she works with, despite the hectic nature of the company Julie says there is never a dull moment in the office with plenty of laughs. Julie’s determined nature is reflected by her desire to continually progress in her career. With the support system and encouragement from management Julie enjoys the on-going opportunities to expand her knowledge and skill set, enabling her to provide our customers with the best possible service, each and every time.
Outside of the office, Julie enjoys using our private on-site gym. With her stress packed days, Julie favours boxing as a great stress reliever. Julie’s favourite thing to do in her spare time is spending time with her family and friends.
